Just a Little Change of Scenery!

Taken at our "old city" and our "new home"!
Hello Friends!
Our dairy farmer/missionary adventure has begun and we want to share it with you!

We have greatly enjoyed our ‘change of scenery’ since moving to Caledonia on June 1st. As many of you know, we are now living and working on Jonathan’s family dairy farm this summer while preparing to travel to Thailand this fall/winter when the crops are finished on the farm.  Sometimes I can’t believe we’re ACTUALLY living this life!

Farm life has proved to be uniquely adventurous. We’re adjusting to very early mornings, long days and late nights of work with the joys of country living at our finger tips. I am personally having a BLAST watching Jonathan be a farmer. It is SO FUN to watch him be SO GOOD at something as complicated as farming. He continually impresses with his skills, abilities, bronzen tan, and rippling muscles.

Renovating the old farm house has been a dream come true. I love creating “something from nothing”. The project has gradually evolved into a fairly large production that we are still working on. We’re having fun and we can’t WAIT to see what it looks like when we are done. …Stay tuned for more updates and pictures.

Thailand plans are coming along very well. Through lots of prayer and research, we believe we have identified the organization that we will be visiting this Fall/Winter! We are still finalizing plans, but we’re excited to be closer than ever before! …Stay tuned for more details and updates.

I look forward to staying connected with you all via this blog!

Until next time,
Farmer Jon & his Lady Liz
